1 Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using the Glowlytics mobile application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.
These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and BDQ Holdings LLC ("Company", "we", "us", or "our").
2 Description of Service
Glowlytics is a skin health tracking application that uses AI-powered analysis to provide insights about your skin. The service includes:
- AI-powered facial skin analysis using computer vision and machine learning models
- Skin health scoring across multiple dimensions (acne, sun damage, skin age, and five signal metrics)
- Personalized skincare recommendations informed by clinical guidelines
- Trend tracking and historical comparison of skin health data
- Product tracking and routine management tools
3 Medical Disclaimer
Glowlytics is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
All skin analysis results, scores, recommendations, and insights provided by the App are for informational and wellness purposes only. They are generated by AI models and should not be interpreted as clinical assessments.
- Do not use Glowlytics as a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment
- Always seek the advice of a qualified dermatologist or healthcare provider with any questions about a medical condition
- Never disregard professional medical advice or delay seeking it because of information provided by the App
- If you have a skin emergency or suspect a serious condition, contact your healthcare provider or emergency services immediately
4 Account and Eligibility
To use Glowlytics, you must:
- Be at least 13 years of age (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction)
- Create an account using valid credentials through our authentication provider (Clerk)
- Provide accurate and complete information during registration and onboarding
- Maintain the security and confidentiality of your account credentials
You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at drmustafa@bdqholdings.com if you suspect unauthorized access.
5 Subscription and Payments
Glowlytics offers a premium subscription ("Glow Pro") with the following terms:
- Free trial -- new users receive a 7-day free trial of Glow Pro features
- Billing -- subscriptions are billed through the Apple App Store. All payments are processed by Apple and subject to their terms
- Auto-renewal -- subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period
- Cancellation -- you may cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period
- Refunds -- refund requests are handled by Apple in accordance with their refund policies
We reserve the right to change subscription pricing with reasonable notice. Price changes will not affect your current billing period.
6 Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws
- Upload photos of anyone other than yourself without their explicit consent
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the App
- Interfere with or disrupt the App's infrastructure, servers, or networks
- Use automated systems (bots, scrapers) to access the App
- Circumvent any access controls, rate limits, or security measures
- Share or distribute your account credentials with others
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
7 Intellectual Property
All rights, title, and interest in the Glowlytics App -- including its design, code, AI models, algorithms, branding, and content -- are owned by BDQ Holdings LLC.
- Your content -- you retain ownership of photos and data you provide. By using the App, you grant us a limited license to process this content solely to deliver the service
- Our content -- all analysis results, scores, recommendations, and UI elements are our intellectual property and may not be reproduced without permission
- Trademarks -- "Glowlytics", the Glowlytics logo, and "Glow Pro" are trademarks of BDQ Holdings LLC
8 Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:
- The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied
- We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI analysis results will be accurate
- BDQ Holdings LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App
- Our total liability for any claims arising from these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the 12 months preceding the claim
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or limitation of liability, so some of the above may not apply to you.
9 Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless BDQ Holdings LLC, its officers, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from:
- Your use of the App
- Your violation of these Terms
- Your violation of any third-party rights
- Any content you submit through the App
10 Privacy
Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your personal data. By using the App, you consent to the practices described in our Privacy Policy.
11 Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time if you violate these Terms, without prior notice. You may stop using the App and delete your account at any time.
Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately. Sections regarding intellectual property, limitation of liability, indemnification, and governing law survive termination.
12 Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make changes:
- The updated Terms will be posted on this page with a revised effective date
- For material changes, we will provide notice within the App
- Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms
13 Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of competent jurisdiction.
